DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin the Sacramento Region on May 2\, 2024 for the Big Day of Giving. Choose Sunburst Projects as your choice to support by making your donation today! Donations are accepted starting on April 18th through May 2nd. Visit our Big Day of Giving page to donate. \nDonations received on Big Day of Giving will go to support our annual Camp Sunburst Project which sends youth infected and affected with HIV to a free summer camp where they will leave all the worries of their HIV status at home and just be a kid. Our camp is a partnership with Healing Waters\, a non-profit that helps those living with HIV experience the majestic white-water rapids of the American River. Campers will spend multiple days exploring the American River near Lotus\, CA by raft. They will sleep in tents under the big sky and even roast marshmallows over an open campfire. Many of our campers come from inner-city homes and have never had this type of experience before. Camp Sunburst\, founded in 1988 has been life-changing for the youth attending every year since. \nDonate today!
